Asahi Kasei Chlor-Alkali Technology 50th Anniversary Conference in Hokkaido

From November 4–6, 2025, we held the Asahi Kasei Chlor-Alkali Technology 50th Anniversary Conference at the Sapporo Park Hotel in Hokkaido.
Since launching this business in 1975, we have advanced through continuous innovation and built strong relationships with our customers worldwide.
This milestone event brought together 276 participants from approximately 30 countries to celebrate 50 years of partnership.

The theme of the conference was “Unified”.
By integrating our business brand “AlkaNexus” into the entire venue design, we shared our philosophy and strategic direction for the future.
The conference included 23 presentations covering topics such as advancements in chlor-alkali technology, plant operation improvements, our monitoring service R2 EMOS®, and the new product Membrode™. We also introduced the latest developments in water electrolysis, sparking strong interest and highlighting synergies across the electrolysis business.
Our exhibition booth showcased electrolyzer models and new products, attracting many visitors. Networking sessions created opportunities for open dialogue across countries and organizations, strengthening relationships and exploring future collaboration.

After the conference, nearly 100 participants joined an optional tour of the Fukushima Hydrogen Energy Research Field (FH2R), marking the largest-ever visit to FH2R and reinforcing our commitment to next-generation technologies.

As we celebrate 50 years, we are taking the next step forward—expanding our One-Stop Solutions and continuing to create new value together with you for the future and beyond.
